REMEMBRANCE

           

 
 
          The SIKH LI fraternity pays homage to Brig Sant Singh, MVC ** (Retd) who left for heavenly abode leaving behind a void in the Regt. He will always be remembered for his outstanding contributions and selfless service to the Nation.

          During the Indo-Pak war in 1965, as CO of 5 SIKH LI, Lt Col Sant Singh displayed inspiring leadership and valour during capture of “OP Hill” feature by his unit against heavy odds and was awarded MVC. As Cdr 33 Inf Bde in Indo- Pak war of 1971 he captured “MYMENSINGH and MADHUPUR”. For this act of gallantry and dedication. He was awarded bar to the MVC.
